COVENANT
“The righteous shall live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:4
What this is
Men reading Scripture honestly, and telling each other the truth about it.
No performance. No pretending the hard parts aren't hard. COVENANT exists because most men carry things they've never said out loud — and because the Bible has more to say to that man than he's been led to believe.
We work through whole books, not verses pulled out to suit us. Every study is written for men, with the questions a man actually brings to the text.
You read on your own in the week. You come on the weekend and talk about it with men who will remember what you said last time.
What gets said in the room stays in the room. What you asked prayer for gets prayed for, and gets asked about next week.
Running now
Five weeks in a short, blunt book of the Old Testament about a man who asked God a hard question and didn't get the answer he wanted.
When God Doesn't Answer the Way You Wanted
A devotional every weekday morning, each one ending in a written prayer. Friday carries the question we take into the gathering. Weekends are left clear.
The shelf
Written for this group, one book at a time. Members get all of it in the study hub.
Five volumes, fifty sermons. Identity, work, money, anger, fatherhood, marriage, endurance — the whole shape of a man's life.
Christ is better. Better priest, better covenant, better rest. Every warning in the letter exists to stop a man trading the better thing for something smaller.
1 Timothy 3. What it actually takes to be the kind of man others can follow — starting at home, where nobody is watching.
Galatians 6. Restore rather than condemn, know yourself before you judge, and the law of sowing that nobody escapes.
The rhythm
Small commitment through the week, one real conversation at the end of it.
Running now · Monday to Friday
A short reading with one question to sit with and a written prayer. Read it early if you can. Don't rush the question.
Being arranged
An hour to talk through the week's question — what men actually found, including the parts that didn't land — and to pray for each other by name. The day and place are being settled now. Ask to be told when it's set.
Come along
Every study starts somewhere, and every man starts in the middle of something. Send a note and I'll tell you when the first gathering is set — and point you to this week's reading in the meantime.

The study hub is private to the men already in the group.
